Born in Glasgow, Scotland, David grew up travelling throughout Europe. His curiosity has led him to the rainforests of Guyana, his sense of adventure to the Canadian Rockies and his appreciation for languages to the pacific coast of Costa Rica.
A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management obtained in 2000 from the prestigious Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, with 15 years of combined experience in the North American and Scottish hotel industry, he brings an extremely high level of customer care to the Travel Network team.
Using his first hand knowledge of Scottish hospitality and culture he creates new travel experiences taking in some of his home country’s enduring buildings and architecture. Dramatic scenery, beautiful light and the drama of the changing weather is guaranteed.
Expect David to be well informed travel blogs, social networks, travel journals and magazines make up part of his regular routine.
Definitely a film fanatic, he loves cinema. He will be up at very unreasonable hours to be the first in line for the newest release. And is the best French spoken Scotsman you will come across in Montreal.
